The DIASBOLA Researchers:

In this section, we provide biographical data of all researcher who are members of the DIASBOLA team. As the CVs and biographical notes reveal, the team benefits from interdisciplinary exchange and diverse research experiences. All team members have already worked in different areas of the humanities and social sciences (e.g. sociology, anthropology, history, sports studies, studies in popular culture etc). Most of them had been part of the “Globalized Football” team (2005-06). Moreover, a respectable number of publications underlines the vaste experience of this research team in the area of football and migration.
The diversity of academic perspectives contributes essentially to our trial of drawing an reconceptualised map of the phenomena related to emigration and football in the Portuguese context.
