BIOGRAFICAL NOTES

Nuno Domingos (was educated as a sociologist in the New University of Lisbon, where he also obtained his master’s degree in Historical Sociology. He has been teaching at the University’s Sociology Department since 2002 He was awarded his PhD in Social Anthropology (SOAS, University of London) in 2009, with a work on the history of football in Colonial Mozambique (Football in Colonial Lourenço Marques: Bodily practices and social rituals).
