Research area & expertise:
I have previously undertaken research projects concerning the state and nature of women’s football in South Africa. In this, emphasis was placed on debates concerning gender, sexuality and sport. I have also lectured, researched and worked in the area of gender, sport and development.
Current reasearch interests & projects:
I am currently enrolled in a research project on migration in women’s football in Scandinavia. In this, I will examine issues of migration and transnationalism in the experiences of African women footballers in Scandinavia.
